Product Advantages

  • Dissociate cells efficiently with a combined solution. EDTA enhances Trypsin-mediated cell detachment

Overview

Use Trypsin-EDTA (0.25%) for enzymatic dissociation of adherent cells, cell aggregates and tissues into single-cell suspensions. EDTA weakens cell-cell adhesion, which improves trypsin's access to hydrolysis-targeted peptide bonds, and enhances detachment of adherent cells. Trypsin-EDTA is also available in a lower concentration (0.05%; Catalog #07910), for applications that require more gentle dissociation.
