Selective Haematological Cancer Eradication with Shielded HSPCs

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is a curative treatment for various hematological malignancies but current methods may lack precision and harm healthy cells.

Join Dr. Romina Matter-Marone, project leader in the Lukas Jeker lab at the University of Basel, as she presents her work on harnessing engineered, shielded hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells to preserve healthy hematopoiesis. She will also discuss developing an antibody-drug conjugate to target the pan-hematopoietic marker CD45 and deplete diseased cells.
